Account Manager (FT/PT)
Eucalyptus Magazine, a rapidly growing Bay Area health, wellness and eco-living publication, has an opening for a motivated account manager. This challenging opportunity is well suited for a candidate that is passionate about health, wellness, eco-living, sustainability, renewable energy, green business, as well as organic, natural products and services. We are filling full-time or part-time position.
Responsibilities:
Selling advertisement and marketing services to pre-qualified prospects
Recommending marketing programs for business growth
Servicing existing customers
Attending networking events to identify new prospects
Requirements:
Positive attitude and willingness to work hard
Goal oriented, results driven, entrepreneurial
Able to work independently with little supervision
Sincere and honest
Print ad sales experience preferred, but not required.
Compensation:

Internships
Editorial Intern
Eucalyptus Magazine welcomes interns who would like to write articles. Primary duties are research and fact-checking, with opportunities for reporting and copyediting. Proposing story ideas and taking on more responsibility, depending on experience, is encouraged. Minimum 10-15 hours per week required for three to six months. Preferred background: English and journalism majors or graduate level students with writing and editing experience.

Web Intern
Eucalyptus Magazine seeks a Web Intern to assist editors with producing and uploading web content for eucalyptusmagazine.com. Primary duties include uploading web content, and researching information and gathering content/art for blogs. Based on interest, additional opportunities may include proposing web story ideas, writing blogs and web articles, and/or shooting photography. Familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, and/or video editing/posting is a must. Preferred background: Journalism, multi-media majors or graduate level students, currently enrolled in a course for credit. Familiarity with HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator is a definite plus. Minimum 10-15 hours per week required for three to six months.

Eucalyptus Magazine seeks a Multimedia Intern to assist with producing and uploading multimedia for eucalyptusmagazine.com. Primary duties include producing videos, multimedia articles and other multimedia projects. Based on interest, additional opportunities may include proposing web story ideas, writing blogs and web articles, and/or shooting photography. Familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, and/or video editing/posting is a must. Preferred background: Journalism, multi-media majors or graduate level students. This position will revert into a permanent position. Familiarity with HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator is a definite MUST. Minimum 10-15 hours per week required for three to six months.
